Making fun of another religion in a public forum can never be a recipe for peace. Dr. Zakir, please use your enormous intellect and memory to find and memorize passages from the Bible that convey the same message as that of the Koran. And let peace be upon everybody.
Good News: Only 42000 Satyam employees are worried about their jobs and not 55000, as reported earlier. Bad News: The 13000 phantom employees were giving their salaries to ex-CEO Ramalinga Raju. Gives a new meaning to the term, a CEO’s salary is several times the salary of an entry level employee.
Microsoft has done a good job. However, the fact remains that it released a product (Vista) and waited for a couple of years for Moore’s law to catch up and make it look good.
The constitution says that the President-elect becomes President — oath or no oath — at 12 noon. And what was happening at 12 noon? Yo Yo Ma was playing Cello along with other musicians.
The pilots didn’t have time to activate the “ditching switch”.
Why can’t the plane’s software automatically activate the “ditching switch” when it senses that a belly landing is imminent? This can be done using inputs from the radio altimeter, landing gear position, speed, attitude (pitch) etc. This will remove one item from the checklist.

I found out that the wordpress blog program provides an xml-rpc interface and that the emacs packages weblogger.el and xml-rpc.el (available from Savannah) allow one to submit blog articles from emacs.
