Laws of physics vs Laws of man: speed breakers

The laws of physics are more powerful than the laws of man — and more painful too. You won’t find many speed limit signs on the Indian roads, and even if you do, drivers just ignore them. So, what is the solution? Speed breakers: big ones and if you drive fast over them, they can not only break your car but also your bum. Most of the speed breakers don’t have any paint markings to warn the user.

Some of them come in groups of 3 or 4, just in case the first speed breaker is not very painful. In some places, you will see a sign “Hump ahead” with a picture. Americans, who may be reading this, please don’t get the wrong idea!

At least, if you are the driver, you can slow down and avoid injury to yourself and your vehicle. But if you are at the mercy of a driver, say an auto-driver, then you are in for a painful experience. These auto drivers, either don’t have any pain nerves or sensation in their butts, or whatever they had was long gone after a few months on the road. And, if you are tall (over 5’10), you will also bump your head at the same time. The driver most likely doesn’t own the auto, and so he doesn’t care too much about damaging it. The good news is that after a few months of this torture, it doesn’t bother you or pain you as much!

The worst torture I can think of is a haemerhoids patient taking an auto ride to the hospital.
