One day they are not there and the next day they are everywhere. I am amazed at the amount of work that was accomplished in such a short time. I am talking about huge posters of politicians that are displayed every few feet from the Airport to the location where large numbers of party workers/supporters wait for their leader to come and give a speech. I am sure it costs quite a bundle to print such huge posters. When I say “every few feet” I am not exaggerating; neither am I regarding the size of the posters.
I am talking about Bangalore but it applies to other cities as well. If the party workers instead spent a fraction of their boundless energy and enthusiasm in plugging the potholes that are everywhere, that would be real public service. They can take credit for it when election time arrives.
